Finally, an American politician — Rand Paul — stands up to the Russia-haters, and adds some sanity to American policy in regard to the Ukraine situation, which clearly has been caused by US/NATO-promoted NATO expansion, not by Russia.

Lunatics in Charge
The anti-Russia politicians in Washington are the lunatics in charge of our foreign policy with regard to the Ukraine war.
US has gone off the rails. This will not end well.
Don’t See Irony
The woke liberals in the US don’t see irony in their supporting a Nazi regime in Ukraine.
Lying
The lying in the Ukraine war is on the Ukrainian side, and it is encouraged by the Western press, which has an unbalanced view toward Russia.
Liberators
The Russian military are considered to be liberators in areas of Ukraine where ethnic Russians are the majority. You don’t get this story told by the Western press.
The ethnic Russians in Ukraine have been discriminated against for years, and they are afraid of the Ukrainian hit squads sent out to eradicate dissent.
Ukrainians — NATO’s Pawns
The Ukrainians are NATO’s pawns in NATO’s undeclared war against Russia. They are going to get steamrolled by the Russian military.
The responsible party for causing this war in Ukraine isn’t Russia but NATO — its reckless expansion eastward despite legitimate Russian security issues.
The real victims here are the Ukrainian people, now brought to the slaughter by NATO’s relentless ambitions.
Russian Losses in WW2
Russia lost 27 million in WW2. That is the basis of their fear of NATO and of Europe. That is the reason why this war in Ukraine happened. Europe has invaded Russia twice in history, and it isn’t an abstract thought that there could be a third invasion. In fact, Russia considers NATO’s reckless expansion eastward as the third — stealth — invasion.
No Ukraine Involvement
The US should stay out of the Ukraine situation. Not in our national interest to get involved in any way. This war was caused by NATO’s reckless expansion eastward.
Instead of constantly taking an adversarial position relative to the interests of Russia, the US should see and understand their point of view on issues and be willing to compromise.
Intermittent Fasting
I’ve been doing 19:5 for a very long time. Eat just one large meal around noon and stop eating around 4 pm. Snack in those last 4 hours. Lately have been doing something like 21:3 3 times a week because I can swim on those days in an indoor pool and so it is easier to push back the big meal from 11 am. to 1 pm.
Goal is to increase the time I’m in ketosis in order to burn more body fat. I’ve gotten pretty close to my ideal weight, but am still interested in reducing body fat as much as possible. I think that when one plateaus and isn’t losing any weight, one can still be reducing body fat.
I call myself an “almost vegan,” as I follow Joel Fuhrman’s GBOMBS diet but eat a small amount of turkey every day, but no dairy. Very focused on both ketosis and autophagy. For autophagy, I’m trying to do one 48-hour fast each month — the first Monday of each month. I find that if I can be very busy with things during that Monday, it is easier to go without food that whole day. But if I’m idle, then it is a problem.
With IF, I’ve dropped from 195 to 146 — I’m 5’7″. I think my ideal weight is 140. But a very lean 140. I think the 3 days doing 21:3 will get me there.
Odyssey
In life, each man is on an odyssey of sorts, whether they go far or near.
