Our colleges have turned a whole generation of American youth into foolish Marxists with extremely naive views and little grasp of reality. Who could have seen that coming? It will have dire consequences — hopefully after I’m long gone.

No effective police force in major cities and the gangs take control of the streets. Then it will be no lives matter. Is Chicago our future?
Undermining the Protest
The looters and property vandals are undermining the legitimacy of the protest for George Floyd. They are just antagonizing a large segment of the population, probably a majority. Dumb and dumber.
Wizard of Oz in Washington
Naz reaches all time highs. The pandemic never happened — thank you Federal Reserve. And this despite 40m now unemployed. Just like the magic feats of the Wizard of Oz — the Feds. We live in a world of smoke and mirrors where reality is hard to detect.
“Opium of the People”
Religion is based on man’s need to understand life and the universe, so he invents god or gods and a complete ideology (religion) that explains it all, but in truth it explains nothing, and life and the universe remain deep and unsolvable mysteries. Even our science doesn’t really explain anything. The evidence is that 14 billion years ago something happened that we refer to as the “big bang.” That’s how far we’ve gotten toward the truth…it was a big bang — terrific. What actually happened, why it happened, etc., none of that is explained or will ever be explained.
The closest thing we come to any kind of deep truth is our knowledge of matter, the periodic table, and how the different substances behave and what produced them (other than hydrogen and helium, the rest were all produced by suns). And we know a good deal about human psychology and anatomy. But as for religion, it is equivalent to your comfort pillow at night when you are sleeping, the one you hug to feel safe and secure. Kind of pathetic in a way.
But there are deep mysteries in the universe, which makes me an agnostic, not an atheist. I don’t see how an atheist can know for certain there is no higher being — where is the proof? There is none As an agnostic, I know that I do not know. That’s all i can know. That’s probably all I will ever know at the deepest and most mysterious levels.
NYC Chaos
What happens in a city when you have a mayor who is soft on crime and not behind the city’s police department. That’s what’s happening in NYC. And it’s been like this for the entire time the current mayor has been in office.
Black on Black Murders
“The rate of white-on-white violent crime (12.0 per 1,000) was about four times higher than black-on-white violent crime (3.1 per 1,000). The rate of black-on-black crime (16.5 per 1,000) was more than five times higher than white-on-black violent crime (2.8 per 1,000). The rate of Hispanic-on-Hispanic crime (8.3 per 1,000) was about double the rate of white-on-Hispanic (4.1 per 1,000) and black-on-Hispanic (4.2 per 1,000) violent crime.” Bureau of Labor Statistics
The number of cases where white cops kill a defenseless black man is certainly unfortunate and should be protested, and the involved cops should be held accountable for their actions, but it pales to insignificance when compared to the number of black on black murders — what’s happening in Chicago being a terrible example of this.

Xmas and Climate Change
This coming Christmas, we should start a new Xmas tradition. Buy a tree like last year, but with the roots intact, and when Christmas is finished, take it outside and plant it on your property (dig the hole in October when the ground is still unfrozen). Every Xmas could produce millions of new trees to inhale carbon — instead of just throwing them away.
