I don’t think the Dems have come up with a single candidate who could come even close to beating Trump in 2020. And the Russian collusion farce is going to backfire on them big time. Plus, they represent open borders and higher taxes — both losing positions.

Arson?
Probably a Muslim arson of Notre Dame, and the authorities there will try to whitewash it. What’s the lesson from that?
Victimization
Democratic Party wants black Americans to embrace being a victim. Some black Americans aren’t buying that stereotype.
Sanctuary Cities and States
I don’t understand why the Justice Department doesn’t bring criminal indictments against officials in sanctuary cities and states. Long overdue.
Assange
Assange booted out of the embassy and arrested. The state has its way with someone who defied it and would reveal its secrets. A sad day for liberty and the freedom of the individual imo.
Is there anyone today so naive as to think that the state is just this benign organism looking out for the interests of its people?
Diary 1999
Reading Ted Koppel’s Off Camera, a daily journal he kept during the year 1999, with a backdrop of Monica Lewinsky, Clinton impeachment, crisis in Yugoslavia, etc. Koppel was one of the last national journalists who wasn’t an ideologue — what we have instead today among prominent media types.
Running throughout the book is an amused and somewhat sardonic view of American life and politics. Koppel — a gifted writer as well as a penetrating and objective journalist. Too bad we don’t have more like him today. Things don’t always get better.
Reelected
The only thing that would stop Trump from being reelected in 2020 would be a stock market crash, which is possible. And even then, the Democrats are throwing up nobodies. “Throw up” being the right verb.
Witch Hunt
Trump is going to be crowing about the Russian collusion hoax for the next 5 years, and will use it at every opportunity to skewer the Dems with a thick coat of nasty ridicule.
Russian collusion is going to be a constant theme in his sarcastic speeches. He’ll paint a picture of the Dems as dishonest connivers trying to pull a fast one on the American public. And who is to say he is wrong?
Truth is, it was a farce from the get go, used simply for political advantage by cynical politicians and media — a media interested in promoting a left-wing ideology while goosing ratings with insinuating, who-done-it stories of Trump’s “lackeys”. Just shows how dominant and controlling media in the US can be when they want to promote a false story, which is more than a little frightening.
But it’s not all a loss. America learned a new word: “collusion”.
Right Wing
The Left calls everyone “right wing” who they disagree with.
CNN
Dopey CNN with its endless Russia nonsense sees significant ratings cuts with the Mueller report ending the nitwit collusion fantasy.
