I am a voracious reader and also enjoy writing. I often have a very different point of view than the popular one. I do see value in debate, and thought it might add to the public debate on controversial issues if I were to express my contrarian opinions. I also started keeping my poems recently (I've written little pieces my whole adult life but never kept any); and I've been a photographer now for over 25 years. So I will be adding an occasional poem and hopefully interesting photograph to the blog along the way, just to spice things up.

Pure lemon juice, not from concentrate. Myriad health benefits if you can get it down. Especially if you have a problem with kidney stones.

I hope Trump has the stones to shut down the border with Mexico. We’ll see one way or the other this coming week. Wouldn’t that be a change? A president who actually leads.

How to Improve Quality of Life
Don’t be in a hurry. Don’t be in such a rush. Slow it down. Particularly when doing tasks that you don’t want to do. Do those carefully in a more deliberate manner.
Don’t Drink It
Instead of orange juice, which is mostly water and sugar with orange flavoring added and no fiber, eat an actual orange, which is loaded with vitamin C and fiber. That’s good for you, the drink isn’t.

Scuttlebutt that a worldwide economic slowdown will cause the the debt-induced China bubble to pop, like the Japanese bubble popped in 1989. The tipping point for the central-bank induced euphoria in all the stock markets could come from China.
Bill to Ban Share Buybacks
Ban share buyback. A good idea long overdue. It used to be that stock buybacks by companies was considered illegal as a form of price manipulation, which it is.
