After their dismal experience making Gaza independent, only to have it turn into a launching pad for rockets into Israel, the Israelis are not going to make the same mistake with the West Bank — the two-state solution is a pipedream of the West. Of course the liberals in the West who are advocating it aren’t themselves getting shelled by rockets.
