Nuclear Confrontation

Is the US planting false flags — like the Gulf of Tonkin incident, which never happened, or supposed weapons of mass destruction, which didn’t exist — as an excuse to send troops into Ukraine or use tactical nuclear weapons against the Russians? Lots of specious and suspicious social-media comments that the Russians are losing and getting desperate, and so will try to use unacceptable weapons to even the score — false flags because the Russians are clearly winning the war.

Such false flags would mean that you and I are now at risk because of this confrontation between the West and Russia in Ukraine because now we are talking the potential of using nuclear weapons. Don’t think that Russia would not response to the use of tactical nuclear weapons against them.

US Sanctions Against Russia

Corruption

What the press in the US doesn’t tell you is that the current government in Ukraine is the most corrupt in Europe — by far. (Some of this corruption involves Americans, like Biden’s son.) And this corruption has left the country extremely poor. Given its natural resources, Ukraine should be thriving, but the opposite is true — the consequence of all the government corruption. When Putin talks about the “bandits” in Ukraine, this is what he’s talking about.

Absence of Diplomacy

Absence of Diplomacy

NATO’s reckless expansion east to the doorstep of Russia is what has caused this war in Ukraine. Russia has been pleading with NATO since the questionable coup in 2014 for Ukraine to remain unaligned, but their pleading fell on deaf ears. So now we have war. A war that should have been avoided, had we had a single worthwhile diplomat in NATO/US. But there are none. They have ideologues, not diplomats.

A true diplomatic would have seen the far greater value in establishing congenial relations between Europe and Russia compared to further expansion of NATO — because to any reasonable person the former is much more important than the latter. Therefore, you do what needs to be done in diplomacy to ensure the better outcome. But that isn’t what our “diplomats” did.

And now the West makes the incredibly hypocritical claim that this war is Russia’s fault. Duh.

Likely Future Terrorist Targets

Best Outcome in Ukraine

Best outcome in Ukraine would be if their military would lay down their arms and surrender. Otherwise, you have a Syria-type civil war that destroys the country with terrible casualties.

The Russian military has surrounded all the major cities, and has encircled the large contingent of the Ukrainian army that had amassed to attack Donetsk, but were beaten to the punch by the Russian invasion. This large mass of Ukrainian soldiers, estimated at 45-65k, faces annihilation. (Keep in mind Russia has tactical nuclear weapons that can take out an entire army with a single device — “tactical” in that these are much smaller nuclear weapons designed to take out a large contingency of soldiers all at once. If you are the leadership in the Russian military, do you engage this Ukrainian force near Donetsk with your own army and therefore sustain serious Russian casualties, or do simply annihilate it with this single device and therefore forego any Russian casualties? The temptation to use such a tactical nuclear device would be very compelling. That would be 45-65k soldiers gone or horrendously wounded in an instant.)

No way that Russia is not going to take back Ukraine from the clutches of NATO, as they see an unaligned Ukraine — without American missiles — as critical to the security of Russia. And, unfortunately, the Russian emphasis on “denazification” does represent reality — the current Ukrainian government is controlled by mobster-like thugs who took control after the 2014 coup. (Was that coup engineered by our CIA? It was reported at the time there were rooftop snipers who were shooting people on both sides of the street demonstrations to foment the situation. Were these snipers funded by our CIA?)

American military aid to support this corrupt government in Ukraine is making this best outcome less likely and an extended devastating civil war more likely. The ones who will suffer will be the Ukrainian people for no purpose.

As usual, thoughtless American foreign policy makes a mess of everything it touches.

American Hatred of Russia

End of the World Scenario

Imagine how dangerous — internationally — the current situation would be if Ukraine had been a member of NATO and contained nuclear missiles. Does anyone doubt they would use them?

Reason enough for the country to remain unaligned and a buffer state between NATO and Russia.

But American missiles in Ukraine is precisely the scenario that the fools in our State Department would like to see come about. They no doubt engineered the coup in Ukraine that took place in 2014, and if we let them, will engineer this dire circumstance. The State Departments doesn’t have diplomats; it has blind ideologues who do not see the consequences of their actions.

Ukrainian Discrimination Against Their Russians

Ukrainian Discrimination Against Their Russians

The pro-Ukraine and anti-Russia American press never comments against the very active discrimination against Russians who live within Ukraine by the Ukrainian government, and not just in the eastern sections of the country, but throughout the country. Our press never ever comments about this very intense repression. Why?

The true situation in the Ukraine is that, unfortunately, you have two nationalities, if not ethnic groups, living there that despise each other.

Absence of Any Real Diplomacy

Absence of Any Real Diplomacy

What has caused this current conflict in Ukraine is the absence of real diplomacy by the West. Anyone could have foreseen the consequences of the relentless expansion of NATO to the east — that it would eventually cause Russia to react due to their security concerns. The Russians don’t want to see NATO-alliance missiles parked at their doorstep. Who would?

The obvious diplomatic solution to this situation would have been to do the following: guarantee that Ukraine would never be allowed to join NATO, guarantee from the Russians that they would respect the Ukrainian borders, and separate those Russian-majority sections of eastern Ukraine as separate republics.

But the West wasn’t willing to make the prudent compromise of keeping Ukraine out of NATO. So I ask you — who really is the aggressor here? NATO or Russia? Russia invaded, but NATO’s intransigence (and expansionism?) caused the problem.

Ukraine

Ukraine

Putin and Russia are reacting just as Kennedy reacted in the Cuban missile crisis. They don’t want Ukraine to be a part of NATO with nuclear missiles there pointed at Russia and only minutes from hitting their targets. That’s what this is all about.

The relentless expansion of NATO into eastern Europe and ultimately Ukraine is what is causing this crisis, not Russia.
