On the Brink

Biden, the neocons in the State Department, and NATO with their aggression pushing the Ukraine proxy war have us on the brink of nuclear war. Providing Ukraine with longer-range missiles that can hit well inside of Russia was the step too far. Ask yourself what the US would do if it were being hit with such long-range missiles? We would retaliate against those countries that provided the missiles.

The woke crowd used to push the narrative that we don’t want Trump’s finger on the nuclear button. Turns out Trump was the peace president who nixed the State Department’s hope for aggression toward Iran. But instead this woke president Biden has brought us to the brink.

We are in an extremely dangerous situation now relative to Russia, and yet all we get from the woke media is silence about that imminent danger. They don’t want you to know. It doesn’t fit the pro-Ukraine, anti-Russia narrative. Proxy wars are supposed to be painless for the West.

Ukraine

Ukraine

It would be best if Russia were to unleash their full force and put an end to this war in Ukraine. It would be best even for the Ukrainians. It would be best even for the US and NATO, as we could finally pull back from the possibility of nuclear war.

Russia could end this in a matter of a few weeks, if not days.

Who Destroyed Ukraine?

Who Destroyed Ukraine?

US and Nato destroyed Ukraine with their anti-Russia policy. US promotes war everywhere because it is good for its defense industries.

Living in the US, with its pension for war, one feels a bit like a citizen of Nazi Germany who realizes that the country is being led by a madman, only here the madman is the entire government.

Reagan called the Soviet Union the “evil empire.” Today, we are the evil empire, with a sanctimonious press that endorses everything the war-mongering government does.

Proud to be American? No, embarrassed and disappointed.

Totalitarians

Anti-Russia Policy

The anti-Russia policy of the US government has been a disaster, and what we are encouraging in Ukraine has pretty much destroyed that country — the fault not of Russia, but of NATO’s aggressive expansion eastward, encouraged by the US.

With respect to Ukraine, Russia had no choice but to protect their “sphere of Influence” against this NATO aggressive expansion. That’s what great powers do. That’s what the US did in the Cuban Missile Crisis; that’s what the Russians are doing in Ukraine.

Where Are the Peacekeepers?

What one should be asking oneself about the conflict in Ukraine is where are the peacekeepers? It is obvious that a settlement of the dispute would be very beneficial to all the parties — Europe, Russia, and most of all Ukraine itself, for, if this war in Ukraine continues and no doubt escalates, the entire country will be ravaged.

But where are the third-party peacekeepers who might aid in brokering an agreement between Russia and Ukraine? No one seems to be stepping up to this task despite the clear benefits for all.

The areas of Ukraine that the Russian military has taken over have a majority of ethnic-Russians in their populations, so it isn’t unrealistic for these areas to be incorporated into Russia — that’s called democracy or rule by the majority. The deal would include the guaranteeing of the new borders of Ukraine against any further incursion by Russia, along with the compromise that Ukraine remains unaligned with NATO. Those are the obvious parameters of such an agreement.

Why would Ukraine entertain such an agreement with loss of territory? Because they are facing devastation to the middle and western parts of their country — currently relatively unscathed — as well as the loss of the entire coastline, including Odessa, so that Ukraine would become completely landlocked, and so no longer benefit as a lucrative transit point for the eastern trade route.

But instead of stepping up to encourage such an agreement, the West has elected instead to open the floodgates of military aid to Ukraine. Clearly, the West, egged on by the US, doesn’t want peace, but is willing to sacrifice Ukraine in order to debilitate Russia. That’s why there are no peacekeepers. The West is using Ukraine to wage covert war against Russia.

This will not end well for the West, certainly not for Ukraine.

Waging war, even indirectly, is an unpredictable animal. The current generation of would-be diplomats in the West seems to have forgotten this fact. And Kennedy’s sword-of-Damocles remark relative to the threat of nuclear war is still very pertinent today — perhaps more pertinent than ever.
