Sniffer

I’ve noticed I’ve become a sniffer in old age. Have taken the time to slow down and sniff the local flowers in May. They all seem to have a distinct scent but low key and subtle. You have to be prepared to accept the delicacy of the scent to appreciate it, to even detect it.

But I’m a sniffer of my Brute aftershave bottle as well. Even take the time after the morning shower to sniff from the bottle — without splashing it on my face. Just sniffing it.

Yesterday, I found a Supernova Christmas tree on the ground that was strongly perfumed. Now it is on my computer desktop where I can sniff it every day.

Life is better as a sniffer. Be a sniffer. Use that other sense. Dogs do. Why not you?

By all means, take the time to be a sniffer, and not just with your nose.
