Not only should we blame China for this virus (second time around with them, which shows criminal negligence), but we should BREAK with China, a communist country with concentration camps.
There are going to be truly massive layoffs. Just gets scarier and scarier. Economy in a death spiral with everything closed for business — and the death toll about to achieve escape velocity. So what do the liberals complain about — the phrase “Chinese virus.” But where did this menace originate? I say, if the shoe fits, wear it. The phrase is accurate and just.
And where’s the liberal ire about the autocratic/totalitarian form of government in China with its truly terrible civil-rights abuses, as in concentration camps for Muslims? Nowhere — that’s where. The armchair liberals are a joke. They have nothing to add to the conversation at all. They play word games with themselves to feel self-righteous while the world burns. Pathetic.
China deserves the world’s acrimony, particular their communist government that attempted nothing but concealment until the truth could no longer be suppressed — only then did the rest of the world become aware of this menace, a menace that now breaks on an intentionally uninformed world with a vengeance because of the chicanery of the Chinese.
But for goodness sake, let’s not offend the Chinese. Anything but that. That would be beyond the pale, and we wouldn’t feel good about it…or virtuous.
Deaths from Coronavirus
More deaths in Italy than in China. Really. That tells me the Chinese are lying about the number of deaths. Why would that not surprise me?
Looks like there may be another win for Trump. Chinese announce they will be lowering many of their tariffs next year.
How is the liberal press going to twist that story?
Watershed Year — Yes or No?
The fall of the Berlin Wall happened in 1989, but so did the massacre in Tiananmen Square.
Joshua Wong is a true freedom fighter.
If you are pro America, don’t buy anything made in China — nothing. Send a message by your own personal actions. Read the label and if it says “Made in China,” don’t buy that product, even if it is cheaper and well made.
Boycott China not just for their predatory trade practices, but also for their totalitarian, undemocratic, and repressive politics. Vote with your wallet.
The dogmatic anti-Putin American press, spurred on by the Democratic Party for purely political reasons, is driving the Russians into the arms of the Chinese. Smart? I think not.
Because of the sham Russian-collusion charge against Trump, he is kind of hemmed in relative to initiating a more conciliatory approach to Russia, which could counter such an alliance so unfavorable to the US. But if he attempts that, that would tend to substantiate the allegation, so he won’t.
So the net result of all of this is that we face a much more formidable alliance now forming between democratic and Christian Russia (it does hold elections, and is no longer communist, by the way) and a totalitarian China — two very dissimilar countries whose only shared interest is the hostility of the US and therefore the menace of the US military.
This could have all been avoided.
NBA Caves to China
NBA caves to criticism from China over the Hong Kong civil disobedience. So much for striking the high note for liberty.
My question is where are all the left-wingers in the US when it comes to support for the protesters in Hong Kong? A yawning silence.
US/China Trade War
The Chinese are not going to be in any hurry to make concessions when next year is a presidential election year. Trump could just go away would be their thinking. But if Trump wins reelection, they would cave. So it will be interesting to see if China tries to meddle in our election, for they have a lot to lose if Trump wins.
These are the real freedom fighters in Hong Kong, while the rest of the world turns its back on them in order to not offend Peking. Just like so many American corporations that are bed with the Chinese Communist Party because their profits are tied up with China.
Funny how we demonize Russia, which is no longer communist, but always give a pass to China, which still is.
