You Don’t Know What You Need

If you use Cronometer religiously, you can find out what your diet is deficient in, and then make the adjustment either with foods that have the missing nutrient or with supplements. Without Cronometer, you won’t know. For instance, I now know that I’m routinely deficient in iodine, choline and lysine and often low in calcium.

Cronometer even has a function where you plug in the missing nutrient, and it will tell you the top 25 foods that contain it.

Ridiculous Lives

We all almost worship actors and the lives they lead, which seem so glamorous, but if you step back a bit and look at it objectively, those lives are ridiculous. Imagine spending your time pretending to be someone else. How foolish that is, what a huge waste of one’s time. It’s almost as if one gives away one’s own life and for what — to pretend. Absurd.

The Romans looked down upon actors, and this attitude persisted right into the Elizabethan Age. Perhaps that negative attitude is more grounded in reality than our mindless worship of actors today.

Left Wingers

Left wingers don’t admit that their approach leads to chaos in the streets. They want to blame Trump for their own behavior. Their riots are somehow his fault. They don’t get that if you remove the police as a necessary restraint in society, chaos will soon follow.

The truly scary idea is that we vote these people in and allow them to govern us. It is not inconceivable that the US would descend into a true dystopia. Imagine civil disorder and shootings everywhere, and supermarkets permanently empty or always chronically short of food.

Murder Rates

Murder Rates

How does black-on-black murder rates in the major cities (think Chicago) compare to the number of blacks killed needlessly and negligently by police officers? The former is a very big number, while the latter is miniscule by comparison, yet the liberal press harps on the the latter and largely ignores the former.

Which of course doesn’t mean we shouldn’t investigate and condemn blacks killed by police needlessly and negligently, but which is the more serious problem — statistically?

Yes, the black community is justified in their concern about unjustified, discriminatory treatment by police, but I would argue their biggest concern, by far, should be gang violence and violence with regard to the drug trade.
