When you eat something you crave the taste of, the first bites are the most delicious, but if you eat a lot of it, your taste for is diminishes with each bite, to the point where it actually becomes distasteful. I’m curious to know how this actually works? Can’t seem to find an explanation for it. How is it that your taste buds for what is a delicious food turn against it? Definitely happens. Eat enough chocolate at one sitting and it will become almost repulsive to the point you can’t eat another bite.

Don’t
Don’t forget how to smile.
Food, Not an Enemy
When you know how to eat for nutrition, food is an ally, not an enemy.
Culpable
The ones who paint Trump as another Hitler-like dictator are as culpable of these assassination attempts as the ones who pull the trigger. Gutter politics.
Temporary
How temporary everything is! You realize this when you are old. When you are in a particular circumstance in life, you think it is more or less permanent, but it never is. Never.
Fat Complexity
There are certain types of saturated fat that are harmful, because they reduce the LDL receptors on the liver, and so cause an increase in blood cholesterol because the HDL returning LDL to the liver to be disposed of can’t get in. This causes a buildup of blood cholesterol in the blood vessels.
On the other hand, there are certain types of saturated fat — like that found in dark chocolate — that don’t have this effect, and so do not pose a threat to promoting clogged arteries.
Sorry, but nutrition is complicated.
Harris
Harris. Same BS. Everyone is a racist, especially your opponent, abortion is freedom of choice, not murder, and now we have the “equity” candidate. Dems are all hot air and rhetoric with no real plan or practical ideas. Pathetic. But amazing how many buy into this crap.
But they are good at using the legal system to go after their opponents, and they thrive on government censorship and suppressing freedom of speech, while claiming their opponents are a threat to the Constitution. Crazy stuff.
America is not what it used to be, for sure — a country in decline now. A few more governments by the Dems and we will have bloody chaos in the streets of the cities.
Civil order is a surprisingly thin veneer.
Which?
Ignore It?
Should one just ignore the news?
It is usually of the clamorous and disastrous variety. So it is is a huge stressor, and who needs the stress? Plus, one can’t do much about whatever it is anyway.
So why pay any attention to it at all? Just ignore it, for one’s mental health.
In Stoicism, they tell you to concentrate on what is under your control, but ignore everything else — that would include the news, in my opinion
You see these people who never miss a single headline, and it is just making them crazier, although they may not realize it.
Health
The body heals itself if you give it what it needs. Why nutrition is so important.
