Resveratrol because of its intense antioxidants and because it is linked to longevity — a longer life span, probably because of the antioxidants.
Sulforaphane because of its proven ability to fight cancer cells. The pharmaceutical industry has poured billions into the study of sulforaphane for this very reason.
Turmeric because of its proven ability to suppress chronic inflammation, which is so common.
Milk thistle because of its proven benefit to promote the health of the liver. You are only as healthy as your liver.

Food Choices
People don’t realize how decisive food is in terms of promoting either stellar health or horrible disease.
If you are very selective in giving your body truly superior nutrition, chances are that you will experience great health, high energy, and a long life.
On the other hand, if you have a diet with poor nutrition, particularly if your diet includes a high percentage of processed foods with all their crazy ingredients that the body doesn’t know how to digest and many of which are carcinogenic, chances are you are opening the door to a wide spectrum of diseases and a much shorter life span.
All this because of your food choices. So take food choices more seriously. They matter.
Dealing With Insanity
If you dig deep enough into the current circumstances of the world you are living in, chances are pretty good that it will appear to be rampant insanity.
So the question becomes, how does one keep one’s balance under these conditions? That’s where a philosophy like Stoicism provides it value.
Survival
Would the human race survive a nuclear war? Probably. But it would be another very dark ages, with a lot of starvation.
The ones who would survive would be primitive cultures used to surviving off the land. But more modern types, dependent on electricity, who survived the radiation, would all perish, probably from starvation.
Repulsive
When you eat something you crave the taste of, the first bites are the most delicious, but if you eat a lot of it, your taste for is diminishes with each bite, to the point where it actually becomes distasteful. I’m curious to know how this actually works? Can’t seem to find an explanation for it. How is it that your taste buds for what is a delicious food turn against it? Definitely happens. Eat enough chocolate at one sitting and it will become almost repulsive to the point you can’t eat another bite.
